Wine and dine through the Yarra, check out an inner-city dairy, or go regional for a decadent long lunch at 2016's biggest event for foodies
You don't have to be a foodie to appreciate the annual Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Mark your calendars for the 2016 event, which runs through March 4-13 and will take you tastebuds through a delectable journey through Melbourne, Victoria and beyond.
Tickets are already on sale now and event highlights include the River Graze, which will take punters through a tour of the Yarra's best eateries and watering holes, the Melbourne Burger Invitational, which will see the city's hottest burger food trucks flock to Welcome to Thornbury, and the City Cellar showcase which will pack 60 of Victoria's best wineries into one convenient location. The Festival Hub, which last year took the form of a bakery, returns this year as the Urban Dairy, a place where the lactose-tolerant can feast on the best cheeses, yoghurt, and ice-cream.
Tickets are already on sale, snap them up before they're gone.
