Located in the back blocks of North Sunshine, this South American bakery has become a favourite amongst the growing Latin American community in Melbourne's west. Each morning the Segovia family provide delicious baked goods such as rosa con chicharrón (a bread baked with pork crackle), moreish cheese empanadas and the Chilean chilenitos – butter biscuits made with caramel and meringue which has you reaching for your Spanish phrasebook for "I'll take two”. The pastry is all handmade on the premises, as is the manjar, aka dulce de leche, aka a heavenly caramel goodness that has drifted down from the heavens.
