Rupert and the Fig

What’s in a name? Well, apparently the former owner is responsible for this unusual moniker. He adored the name Rupert but his wife wouldn’t allow him to give it to any of their sons. Thus, he bestowed the name upon his café, while also honouring its original name, Figgy’s. The venue itself is a hole-in-the-wall with an open plan kitchen, glass brick wall, no fuss furniture and incredible pancakes.
