For the first time ever, Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is opening up its opulent club lounge to Valentine’s Day lovers. Usually reserved for hotel guests, Sofitel Club Lounge as well as their No35 restaurant are offering a dinner experience that's sure to impress.

Book into an early or late sitting and you'll head up 35 floors to enjoy a dinner with a backdrop of the twinkling city. You'll be greeted with Champagne or cocktails on arrival before diving into a three or four-course set menu, accompanied by premium wine and beer. After you'll enjoy sweet petit fours with espresso coffee and loose leaf teas.

If you really want to go all out, luxury florist Fleur Du Luxe has curated optional gifts to add on. Best of all, these aren't just any flowers – Fleur Du Luxe uses an artisan French technique to preserve the flowers, meaning your roses will last for up to a year.

There are two seatings – 5.30pm for Champagne and three courses ($159) or 8.30pm for a cocktail and four-courses ($199) – with the options to secure window seats (do it – the views are incredible here). Add on a Fleur Du Luxe or even stay the night in the hotel for a special Valentine's Day treat. Bookings are essential.
