Pub and café classics rule the menu at Common Man

Whether you’re after breakfast, lunch or dinner Common Man has you covered. Located down at South Wharf the casual eatery is open from 7.30am during the week. It’s a straightforward but still friendly sort of set up, the sort of place you’d go for a meal after a long day.

But first breakfast. Naturally there’s smashed avo (which comes with goat’s curd, roasted tomato and an optional poached egg) as well as café classics like bacon and egg muffins (with relish and hollandaise it’s a fair sight better than Maccas version), smoked salmon bagels, ricotta hotcakes and housemade porridge. During breakfast hours your morning cup of joe will only cost you $2.50 too.

Once you move into main meal territory food takes on a upgraded pub grub feel. Case in point: they have four types of parma, five types of burgers and eight pizzas to choose from. If you’ve got to get back to the office try Common Man’s express lunch. Available between midday and 2pm weekdays you’ll get a main and a drink for $19. You’ve also got happy hour to look forward to each weekday between 3.30-6.30pm.
