The Real Jerk

Jamaican cuisine isn't something you come across too often in Melbourne, but The Real Jerk is definitely filling that gap. The cool dudes behind the food truck make some seriously good spicy jerk chicken or pork served traditionally with rice and salad. If you see them slinging cassava chips, order some. The root vegetable makes an amazing alternative to potatoes and goes really well with the smoky jerk dishes. These guys also keep things interesting with limited run dishes like patties (like pasties) or even a warming ox tail stew, so keep an eye out for new Jamaican dishes.
