Restaurants Melbourne

For super fast super food, head to one of the healthiest spots in the Emporium food court – or even the whole city. Thr1ve's menu is primarily paleo, serving up everything from 'primal toast' and almond and coconut flour pancakes for breakfast to bowls of zucchini noodles and salmon for lunch. For $14, the 'Get Mighty' packs a lot of protein: you get grass-fed pulled beef with smokey barbecue sauce and ranch dressing, alongside seasonal mash and 'kaleslaw'. You can even build your own meal, selecting two bases, a protein and sides: great value, and the portions are generous enough to feed the hungriest of cavemen. Smoothies – made with house-made, raw almond milk – are meals in themselves: try the Monkey Fuel, with banana, ABC butter, cinnamon, chia seeds and honey, or the Salted Caramel, with dates, banana, chia seeds, cashew butter and sea salt.
