You’ve gone out the night before, or maybe you’ve stayed in? You’re fanging for a good feed and maybe a few cheeky cocktails with the girlies, but you’re all racking your (foggy) brains trying to find a place for brunch. Jess is vegan. Chloe doesn’t like eggs and Merryn is just annoyingly fussy. Then you have an idea: “What about Rice Paper Scissors?”.

For $79 buckaroos, you and your mates can treat yourself to two hours of free-flowing cocktails, beer, wine and four dishes from Rice Paper Scissors’ delicious Asian-fusion menu. The menu caters to both vegans and non-vegans, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, it’s not your typical brunch feast, so if eggs on toast and granola bowls don’t tickle your fancy – then we’re sure pork steamed buns, crispy coconut cups and pineapple ceviche will.

You can sit down for a boozy brunch at Rice Paper Scissors every Saturday and Sunday from either 12pm-2pm or 2:30pm-4:30pm. This iconic restaurant is also located on the bustling Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, so you can cop a feed and then head further down into Fitzroy for some retail therapy – or kick ons at a bar for when that mimosa hits.

To make a reservation and have a gander at the full menu, head to the website here.
