These days, you'll see at least one frozen yoghurt joint on any high street in inner Melbourne – but not all of them are created equal. Not only are Yo-Chi the kings of flavour innovation and variation, but they also love getting creative with their store fit-outs. Their new Yarraville yoghurt haven is wrapped in vibrant colour graphics by US artist Andy Rementer, warmed up by rounded timber chairs and tables.
But enough of the scenery: let's talk flavours. From chocolate to mixed berry, all your favourites are here, along with seasonal treats like mango and Persian delight. Vegans and the gluten intolerant are well cared for; you can get vegan chocolate hazelnut made with fermented almond milk yoghurt. All ingredients are low fat, natural and organic, although keep in mind that yoghurt can soon become and indulgence when you start sprinkling on the 40-odd toppings. But hey – we're not judging, and life's too short for plain old yoghurt.
