Personally, we’re of the opinion that if you have a dog, then you need no one else in your life. However, if you do crave additional human interaction that won’t cramp your relationship with your dog then you might want to try Dating with Dogs.
On Saturday, July 27 the National Hotel in Richmond is hosting Dating with Dogs – a singles mixer for people who also love dogs. The event is for single, dog-loving people of all genders and sexual orientations who are looking to meet someone. Included in your Dating with Dogs ticket is a free drink and canapés, plus doggie doughnuts and pup-cakes for your pooch. There will also be an on-site vet doing complimentary checks.
Keep in mind you don’t actually have to have a dog to attend this event (we know landlords and lifestyles can be prohibitive). Those who do have good boys and girls are encouraged to bring them along if only to help you sniff out your soul mate. If speed dating makes you sweat don’t worry – Dating with Dogs is more just like drinking with a bunch of beautiful single people and their dogs.
