Time Out says
Biba salons are always excellent (their stylists have been winning awards forever and they've been part of the Aussie beauty establishment for over 40 years), but what if you want a great cut and colour and funds are tight? Thankfully, there's an answer in the form of the Biba Academy salons, the training grounds for tomorrow's best hairdressers. Sure, it meams that an apprentice gets their hands on your locks, but it's under the super watchful eye of a master hairdresser.
Expect for things to take longer than your usual salon (they're learning after all, so cut them some goddamn slack), but if you have an arvo free, it's more than worth it. One of our number has bright-red, rockabilly hair with a white stripe in her Betty bangs – that white striped has been screwed up in many a fine and spenny hair establishment – but the Biba kids get it right everytime and it comes in at a fraction of the cost (haircuts are $25 for ladies and men – unbelievable value).
