Heads up, redecorators: Spotlight stores across Melbourne will be taking a huge 40 per cent off all curtains and blinds across the Easter long weekend.

Stores are closed on Good Friday, but open the rest of the weekend, and the sale will be going all weekend at Spotlight Stores Online.

Use the extra time off afforded by the Easter break to add the finishing touches to any room by scoring a bargain blind or curtain.

Spotlight is a family owned and operated Australian business with stores throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The founders learned about fabrics by working at their family stall at Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market in the early 1970s. The first Spotlight store opened in Malvern in 1973, and they now number over 100.

Kitchen and dining spaces, lounge and bedrooms, bathrooms and laundries are all covered by Spotlight stores, which have a particular emphasis on haberdashery and craft.
