Das T-Shirt Automat: Fitzroy

If you can think it, you can print it on a T-shirt

What was once an ordinary Victorian terrace house has been transformed into 'Das T-Shirt Automat', est. February 2013.

The people behind this red-and-white striped hole-in-the-wall on Johnston Street are here to make up a shirt design of your choice, so pull a stool up to the window and have a chat. You can supply them with your chosen image on a USB (.eps .ai .psd, etc) and they'll rustle up a shirt ($35), hoodie ($50), jumper ($50), tote ($20) or onesie ($30). Alternatively, you can buy one of the ready-made designs that excel in smart-arsery.

"We use a very fancy and modern process called DTG (Direct to Garment)," they say. "Itโ€™s basically textile ink sprayed directly onto the fabric, itโ€™s supersoft and long lasting. You can iron it, you can spill gravy on it."

Whether you're after a tee for your bedroom band, or some variation on 'I'm with stupid' for that special night out, this is your pit-stop shop.
