There's been some big changes happening at Westfield Plenty Valley (located in Mill Park, north-east of the CBD). After an $80 million redevelopment the centre now has a sparkling new dining and entertainment precinct. Shoppers can now take a break on the new landscaped lawn, see a flick at the new Village Cinemas complex or get a bite from the huge line-up of new food retailers like the Pancake Parlour, Kinn Thai, Martini and Co and for the first time in Victoria, Italian Street Kitchen. There's also an additional 340 new car parks available making it easier to shop. To celebrate the redevelopment we've picked out five new retailers we're excited to see at Westfield Plenty Valley.

For more information, visit the Westfield Plenty Valley website.

Five new retailers coming to Westfield Plenty Valley

Italian Street Kitchen

Finally Victoria is getting its very own Italian Street Kitchen. After attracting a steady following in Sydney, ISK is making the move down south to fill the hungry bellies of Melbourne with delicious pasta, pizza, wine and roasts. For those on the run their meatball panini is a winner but ifyou've got the time sit down and savour their Roman-style pork belly.

Grill'd

There’s a reason there are more than 100 Grill’d stores across Australia. There’s one thing Grill’d cares about and that’s burgers done well (oh and tasty fries too we suppose). Whether you want a simple beef burger, something veggo (or vegan), all the burger goodness but with less carbs, or something OTT and dripping with flavour Grill’d has the burger for you, with none of the fast food regret.

San Churro

Fried dough and melted chocolate – what’s not to love? San Churro is modelled after traditional Spanish chocolaterias, where locals gather together to enjoy the simple pleasure of sweet golden churros dipped in chocolate. Each churro is made to order and is served with silky milk, dark or white chocolate (or salted caramel). So up the chocolate ante with a premium shake, sundae or extravagant dessert.

Playing sport makes you hungry and strangely enough so does watching sport – a fact that is not lost on the Sporting Globe. The leading sports bar and grill screens all the major sporting events live from around the world and backs it up with juicy burgers, char-grilled steaks and parmas that will bring a tear to your eye. If you’re bringing the whole team there’s even a one kilogram meat board available.

The Pancake Parlour

Residents of Melbourne's northern suburbs take note: no longer must you trek to Preston for your pancake fix. The Pancake Parlour is now open at Westfield Plenty Valley serving all your fave pan-tastic dishes. The parlour has more than half a century of pancake expertise so whether you choose from the sweet, savoury, vegan or value menus you know your meal will be heavenly.
