On bustling Barkly Street, in a blue- and yellow-tiled block that includes Dr Follicles the barber, stands Frocks and Slacks, one of the last true vintage stores southside. It’s been run for 15 years by Tracey Morrison, whose expertise in the fashion of bygone eras is such that she has dressed local musicians such as Tim Rogers with the aplomb that their legend deserves. Tracey constantly updates Facebook with the best handpicked finds in her shop so there’s no excuse not to support small businesses and get kitted out in style.
