Time Out says

Director Sally Quinn and coordinator Kirri-Mae Sampson have their hands full with all the customers pokng around their delightful shop. At first glance it looks more like a design studio, but there's a much more interesting story behind it, as they take a minute to tell Time Out.

In 2005, Quinn and her brother set up the social enterprise Green Connect to work with Melbourne businesses, picking up office items that would normally be thrown out and making sure they got recycled. From there it seemed obvious to start making sellable creations from this waste, so in 2008 they opened this Yarraville store, selling upcycled homewares, alongside pre-loved clothes, Fair Trade items and bowls bought from disadvantaged women in Vietnam. Any profits then go into working with the community – out in the Dandenongs they have a studio in which they train homeless people, refugees and those from sidelined communities.
