There are lots of shops in Docklands, but the suburb was bereft of a single plant shop until late 2021. But then Leafi came along to bring some greenery to the residents of one of Melbourne's most high-density suburbs.

Owner Tian Xia is a longtime Docklands resident, and when she left her high-powered job at one of Australia's big banks, she decided to turn her hand to making her neighbourhood a little greener.
Leafi sells indoor plants like monsteras, pothos, philodendrons and peperomias, along with detailed instructions as to how to keep them alive and thriving. The shop also sells plant pots and accessories and offers commercial plant styling for offices, hospitality venues and other commercial spaces.
