Mecca Cosmetica: Eastland

As with all of its other stores, Mecca Cosmetica's Eastland outpost is cool, elegant and chilled, which is exactly the sort of environment that’s conducive to servicing beauty and cosmetic needs. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable, without getting in your grill. The store pitches to the high-end (for instance, it's the go-to shop for Parisian-brand Dyptique's candles, which go for around $100 a pop), but Mecca Cosmetica’s products are tried, tested and true. It’s also a testament to good design that the three, well-lit beauty stations in the middle of the shop aren’t soul destroying.
