Mr Simple

Mr Simple started with the basics (which they still do ever so well) but, describing themselves as a "gentlemen's outfitter", they've expanded their stable of menswear to include everything a well turned out gent requires, without getting stuffy about it. The name says a lot too – their pieces are simple – no busy logos and nothing OTT. In our currently cold clime, we're enjoying their take on the traditional, chunky men's sweaters (Oxford's sweaters are good value around the $100 mark). Their beanies are neat too – you wouldn't be ashamed to be seen with a fella wearing one of these (Mr Simple's stocking Seafarer, Rockwell, Quartz and Goodtimes – head warmers range from $19 to $39).
