Time Out says

Australia's biggest design blog is setting up home in Collingwood for a weekend, with price tags on everything you can touch

If you've spent hours scrolling through photographs of meticulously decorated homes on Melbourne-based blog The Design Files, then it's time to take your obsession up a notch. This month, The Design Files is transforming a light-filled warehouse space into what TDF founder Lucy Feagins is dubbing the "ultimate Australian home".

As you make your way from room to room, you'll encounter homewares, furniture and art made by more than 60 Australian makers, including Stephen Baker (best known for his hand-painted mural at the Fitzroy Pool) and jeweller and sculptor Anna Varendorff, who creates delicate brass vases. Make sure you've got your wallet at the ready, because everything in the house can be purchased on the spot, from cushions in the master bedroom to sofas in the open-plan living area.

The event is pet and kid-friendly, and includes a play area for children and a courtyard designed by Melbourne-based landscape designer Phillip Withers. For an even deeper dive into TDF, stick around for talks by a range of local designers and entrepreneurs, popping up across the weekend.
