Time Out says

Get books for chump change for a good cause

Need a new bedtime read? Or maybe you need a new book to take on that trip? With a little spare change, you can get some new reading material at Two Buck Books.

Setting up shop at the old Fancy Hank's function room at the Mercat, Two Buck Books is a charity bookshop that will donate proceeds from all sales to the a different charity each month. From the get go, founder Robbie Coleman has managed to get his hands on literary gems to stock the Two Buck shelves with (like a signed copy of Bret Easton Ellis's American Psycho), so you can expect to find some great titles.

Frequent visits are encouraged, as Coleman plans on enlisting local and international authors to sign their books to add to the donation pile.

Books go for, well, two dollars each, and book lovers are encouraged to donate unwanted books (during open hours or in the donation bins) to keep the shelves well-stocked. Sure, any books are welcome, but if you haven't looked through that gorgeous coffee table book in a while now, it might be worth giving it away for a charitable cause.
