Time Out says

This YMCA-managed centre has more facilities and activities than you can shake a pool noodle at

The Casey Recreation and Aquatic Centre was opened in 2009 and features both 25- and 50-metre pools that cater to swimmers of all ages and abilities, whether you’re there for a casual exercise session or to better your personal best time.

The gym hosts a number of individual and group fitness facilities complete with personal trainers that will help you set and reach your fitness goals and find the right exercise regimen for your lifestyle. The nutrition program provides a guideline of how you can continue your healthy habits at home, with delicious recipes and seminars on what to eat to make your body love you.

A session in the warm water pool will help to ease your aches with specialised exercise groups, or you can treat yourself to a session in the spa, sauna and steam room. Aquatic aerobics classes feature all-inclusive sessions ranging from athletic recovery to programs tailored to those with injuries or disabilities.

The centre is perfectly suited to birthday parties, with two huge slides and an inflatable obstacle course ensuring hours of slipping and sliding fun. There is a kinder and kid’s club within the centre, providing an active and engaging environment that the littles will love.
