Support the Jillaroos and Kangaroos at a double-header against the Kiwis

A brand-new flavour of footy fever is taking over Melbourne, as the Pacific Championships will soon make its highly anticipated debut in town. This new competition brings together the best women’s and men’s talent from seven Pacific nations for an exciting showcase of skill, culture and pride. Every game matters in the Pacific Championships, because new trophies, world rankings and ultimately, World Cup qualification are all on the line. 

Games have been taking place across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, but on Saturday, October 28 the action will be going down right here in Melbourne at AAMI Park. In a special Australia vs New Zealand double-header, the Jillaroos will take on the Kiwi Ferns in the women's competition, and the Kangaroos will take on the Kiwis for the men’s competition. The first match kicks off at 6pm, followed by the second at 8.10pm. 

Some of the biggest stars in Rugby League will be turning out, including hometown Melbourne Storm heroes Cam Munster and Harry Grant (Kangaroos) going up against teammates Jahrome Hughes and Nelson Asofa Solomona (NZ)This double-header is the first time the Kangaroos have played in Melbourne since the opening match of the 2017 World Cup, and it’s the first time the Jillaroos have ever played here. So, make the most of this rare chance to watch the Jillaroos and Kangaroos up close as they go head-to-head with their arch rivals, New Zealand. 

Tickets for this pair of high stakes games are now on sale. Prices start at $25 for adults and $65 for families (which includes two adults and two children). You can find out all the details and nab yours at the NRL website.
