It’s circus, but not as you might know it
[Sponsored] The world-class acrobats of Gravity & Other Myths (Backbone, Melbourne Festival 2017) are bringing their award-winning stripped-back circus show to Melbourne in January.
This is circus at its most rudimentary. There's no flashy props or over-the-top sets; instead, it's the acrobatic mastery of these seven performers put to the forefront. Witness first hand how these talented performers use teamwork to pull off these hair-raising stunts, which sees their bodies pushed to physical limits.
Recommended for audiences aged eight and up, the performance is an hour-long celebration of strength, playfulness and synergy. See it at Arts Centre Melbourne's Fairfax Studio from January 3 to 14.

I was SUPER impressed by these guys. Went and saw them in Melbourne tonight at the Arts Centre. Was expecting to see a group of acrobats doing a few tumbles and turns. Same ol', same ol'.
Instead, the packed house & I were on the edge of our seats with disbelief. These guys (and girls) were amazing! We were entertained from start to finish by a high-impact, graceful and entertaining display of how the human is built to do more than just walking and sitting on our butts - without safety nets or props!
I highly suggest going to see this event... worth every cent for a real treat!
