While the name Lars Norén might not sound familiar, he is widely regarded as one of Sweden's greatest playwrights. His work, which often delves into the melancholic, is regularly performed across Europe, including this powerful three-hander, Courage to Kill, which took out the Swedish Academy Nordic Prize in 2003.
Presented by local company Public Front, this will be the first time that the play will be shown in Melbourne. Richard Murphet will direct this tense domestic thriller, which sees a father and son locked in a cycle of dysfunction and fear.
