Two greats of Melbourne cabaret – Mama Alto and Maude Davey – co-created this show coming to Melbourne Festival after a hit season at this year’s Midsumma Festival. Featuring a cast of trans and gender diverse artists from all stages of their careers, the show mashes together the traditions of vaudeville with genre-pushing and boundary-pushing performance. Expect song, dance, burlesque and poetry to come smashing together in chaotic style.
The show plays six performances at the spiegeltent on Arts Centre Melbourne’s forecourt, with performers Amao Leota Lu, Miss Bailee Rose, Fury, Harvey Zeilinski, Mahla Bird, Mx Munro, Ned Dixon, Nevo Zisin and Quinn Eades.
