Time Out says

Face your fears in this delightfully grim horror-themed cabaret

A new bad luck-themed cabaret show is coming to Melbourne this winter. Prepare to be simultaneously terrified and titillated when Superstitious lands in Melbourne on the very pertinent date of Friday July 13.

Created by the Queens of the Damned production company (which boasts members responsible for Dracula’s, Witches in Britches and Monsterfest), Superstitious describes itself as a “high class horror cabaret”. Superstitious combines circus, drag, burlesque and comedy, with every act focusing on a different superstition about bad luck. Expect black cats, ladders, umbrellas and broken mirrors to feature prominently.

The whole show is led by host James Seamark (formerly of Dracula’s and Witches in Britches) alongside a cast of top performers like Sina King, Lyla Dash and Wendy Dys.

Superstitious is on for one night Friday July 13 at 24 Moons, Northcote. Tickets start at $40.
