The theme for the Casa Aperol pop-up at Petanque Social is Riviera summer – think greenery, coastal vibes and pops of colour, all reminiscent of northern Italy. To go alongside the dreamy alfresco space and refreshing Aperol Spritz, Casa Aperol have collaborated with the team from Melbourne Italian restaurant Gradi to bring you a curated – and delicious – European experience. Perfect to share with friends alongside an Aperol Spritz in the afternoon sun, the menu features dishes like grilled sourdough with hummus and capsicum dip; Australian tiger prawns, marie rose sauce and lemon; porcini mushroom arancini with truffle mayo; salt and pepper calamari with lemon aioli; and crispy chicken karaage with gochujang (spicy Korean condiment) mayo. For something more substantial, there are also authentic pizzas including the romana pizza with San Marzano tomato, fior di latte and prosciutto cotto.
