Time Out says

Watch this highly anticipated AFLW and AFL State of Origin match with all proceeds going to bushfire relief

The AFL has announced a huge fundraising double header match on Friday, February 28 at Marvel Stadium. The night will kick off with an AFLW match between Collingwood and Melbourne, which was originally scheduled to play at Victoria Park. Then it will be followed by a State of Origin match between team Victoria and the “All Stars” team.

The AFL has pledged that all proceeds from ticket sales will be going to a Community Relief Fund set up by the AFL. The money will be given to footballing families in fire-affected communities in order for them to repair and rebuild their football clubs. This fundraising initiative follows on from the AFL’s generous donations to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund

Tickets are $10 for kids and $20 for adults and concessions. The AFLW game starts at 5.40pm and the State of Origin game starts at 7.50pm.
