Time Out says

Explore three mazes – the Cypress Hedge Maze, the Circular Rose Maze and the Lavender Labyrinth – and test your sense of direction down on the Peninsula

Here at Ashcombe, you'll find the country's oldest and probably most famous hedge maze. The maze was planted with more than 1,000 cypress trees and there are multiple pathways to meander through (or more likely, get lost in). The hedges are more than three metres tall and over two metres thick, so there will be no cheating happening in this mega maze.

Flora fans will also be impressed by a beautiful circular rose maze and the year-round flowering lavender labyrinth, which features more than 3,000 lavender plants that overlook the impressive Arboretum.

There are over ten hectares of woodland and gardens to explore so pack the sunscreen and plenty of water for a fun-filled day out.
