If you know your heel leads from your relevés – or you're just a fan of Dancing With the Stars or Strictly Ballroom – this could be the event for you.
World-champion ballroom and Latin dancers will pack Margaret Court Arena hoping to impress a panel of judges with their spins, lifts and fancy footwork. More than 1,000 dancers will take part – that's a whole lot of sequins.
For the first time, the championship will also include the first Para DanceSport Competition in the event's history, as well as a performance from world champion Danish dance performers Bjørn Bitsch and Ashli Williamson.
The event will last for three days, with different events and styles on each day. If you love watching dance on TV or in movies, it's much more thrilling to see it live.
