[Sponsored] The City of Stonnington will host a festive celebration at Malvern East's Central Park. Carols will ring out from the grassy park with a concert hosted by stage and screen actor Tim Campbell, who will also be singing a few carols on stage.
He will be joined by Lucy Maunder (Matilda, Doctor Zhivago), Thando (Dreamgirls, The Colour Purple), and Paul Biencourt (Auf Naxos, The Marriage of Figaro), who will belt out Christmas classics with support from Stonnington City Brass and South of the River Choir, along with musical direction by John Thorn.
This evening isn't just about carolling though – there will also be loads of free craft activities. Try your hand at festival fun nail art with the crew from I Scream Nails, or craft your very own festive ornament with Smart Art. The event is also super family-friendly – there will be a play zone from the Stonnington Toy Library, performances tailored to little ones and of course a visit from Santa. To cap off the evening, there will be a big laser light show.
