Time Out says

Christmas is still half a year away, but it's come early to Dandenong Market

As much as we love our sunny Christmases, sometimes we do wish that we can eat those Yuletide treats in the climate they're meant to be enjoyed in. Thankfully, Dandenong Market is hosting a one-day Christmas in July Part on Sunday July 23 so you can stuff yourself silly with Chritstmasy foods without the sweating and critcket (no offence to cricket fans).

Dandenong Market vendors will be offering a classic Sunday turkey and pork roast, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and chocolate pud to brace yourself against the chilly Dandenong weather. Aside from continental classics, stalls will be making traditional food from all around the world: try some Sri Lankan kotthu roti, seafood kebab, and even sushi that's been made with familiar Christmas flavour combos.

Bring the kids along, Santa and his elves will be visiting all day accompanied by carollers who will be warming up their voices ahead of the real deal in December.
