Are you a creative type looking for space to paint, sculpt, dance, record music, film or write? Artists and those in the creative industries can find spaces to work throughout Melbourne, as well as info about live and virtual events, on the Creative Spaces website.

The website is part of the City of Melbourne's Creative Spaces program and was launched in 2008 in partnership with the RMIT Design Research Institute and Creative Victoria. Redeveloped in 2020, it is now a place for artists to connect, promote their work, find spaces to work and find and promote virtual and in-person creative endeavours and events.

Listing a space is free, and the site also features artist profiles and events. There are more than 1,000 spaces listed, for all kinds of creative pursuits. Creative Spaces does not allow health, beauty, wellness or corporate organisations to advertise space, ensuring the site is used for its intended purpose.
