Time Out says

At this expo you can visit stalls, gather info and arrange one on one meetings with service providers

The Disability Service Provider and Participant Connection Expo is coming to Melbourne in January bringing with it a host of stallholders and service providers in an effort to make navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) a little easier.

This free event has been designed so that carers, family members and those living with disabilities and requiring support from the NDIS have a chance to connect with service providers.

More than 130 providers will be in attendance as well as Expo staff to help you navigate the complexities of the NDIS. Participants will be able to make one on one appointments with providers via an online booking system which will grant them the freedom to ask questions and make arrangements appropriate for their needs.

Almost 130,000 Victorians receive assistance from the NDIS and with more than 55,000 people with disabilities accessing the scheme for the first time, navigating the NDIS can be a bit overwhelming. Especially when it comes to searching through the hundreds of providers and trying to connect with the right one. This is why the Disability Service Provider and Participant Connection Expo is so important.

The expo is in Melbourne on January 18 and 19 and will be located at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The venue is fully accessible.
