Time Out says

The Docklands heats up for winter with a bar, American barbecue, performances and plenty of free workshops

Embrace those winter vibes at the Docklands this weekend, as the leafy park beside the water-facing Library at the Dock plays host to a harvest festival that is sure to get you in the spirit of the colder months.

The festivities kick off on Friday at 5pm, with a Harvest Bar serving warming winter drinks, Southside Smokers barbecuing up some tasty American-style meat and a three-piece band Velvet Archers bringing the tunes. That night, a huge wooden sculpture will be set ablaze, giving visitors a little taste of the upcoming Docklands Firelight Festival, which kicks off on June 30.

Saturday is all about workshops: you can learn how to make twirled pasta, lanterns, terrariums, pickling and how to pair tea and chocolate perfectly. Kids are well catered for too, with hands-on gardening activities and live music by Hammond organ trio Cookin' on Three Burners.
