The East Melbourne Library's collections include music and film catalogues of CDs and DVDs, non-fiction and fiction literature, community languages and local history. It also contains a variety of community spaces including meeting rooms, gallery and projectiors for hire, with free internet and word processing services.
The library hosts public programs for children and families, book groups and other community events.
