The Waterside Hotel certainly does, so they’re now striding into Sunday session territory with their new Corona Sundays. Every Sunday from January 14 the Waterside Hotel’s rooftop bar will become an end-of-weekend sanctuary with DJs and cheap Coronas.
Bring your mates along to the Waterside to say goodbye to the weekend with buckets of Coronas for $30 (four Coronas per bucket). Prefer your beer sans bucket? Single Coronas will be going for $10 a pop. Between 1-5pm there will also be music thanks to the Waterside’s line-up of DJs so you can boogie your way into the new week.
Watch the people below on Flinders and King streets while you drink Coronas from your rooftop perch. Need a bite to eat? Pair your Coronas with something from the bar snacks menu. Alongside the bar stalwarts like marinated Mt Zero olives, spiced nuts and Benny's chicken wings you can also get your hands on some heartier fare like the Manhattan Dog (a hot dog with cheese sauce, Coney Island pickles, green onions and tomato sauce), chargrilled garlic and lemon lamb ribs and the Waterside’s half pounder beef burger with curly fries.
Even if you're not after a Corona the Waterside's rooftop is still a great place to spend your last few hours of freedom. The bar offers a healthy selection of tap and bottled beer and cider plus wines, spirits and cocktails. Why not splash out and get yourself a cocktail jug to share with your pals? You’ve got the choice of Pimms, sangria or the Waterside’s spritz.
Ease your re-entry to work and grab a drink at Corona Sundays at the Waterside Hotel. It’s on from 1pm every Sunday from January 14.
