Still looking for long weekend plans? Look no further: over in Williamstown they’re lining up food trucks, live music and rides for what is set to be one big seaside party.
From Thursday January 25 the folk behind the nomadic Food Truck Fiesta (they also pop up in Geelong and Highett on the reg) will be rolling into Williamstown’s Seaworks to feed all the long weekend visitors to the seaside town. From 5pm on Thursday you can tuck into cups of cheese-covered carbs from Pasta Face, beautiful bao and banh mi from Nem N’ Nem and everything from tandoori to tikka at Yo India.
There’s more than ten food trucks lined-up in total and Triple J’s Hottest 100 will be blasting on the Saturday. The event is partnering with AIME to help disadvantaged students. Saturday will also be “pupper appreciation day” with guests encouraged to bring along their fur babies along.
Grab some ice cream from Billy van Creamy and your coastal foray is complete. The Food Truck Fiesta will be at Seaworks in Williamstown from January 25 to 28.
