Time Out says

See this ‘90s thriller in Scienceworks’ electric Lightning Room

Set in the not too distant future, Gattaca stars Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and Jude Law in an engrossing sci-fi thriller that deals with the ethics surrounding genetic engineering and what it means to be 'perfect'. Since its release in 1997, the film has gained quite the cult following, and on Saturday, November 24, audiences will be able to head along to a very special screening of Gattaca in Scienceworks’ Lightning Room.

Created in partnership with Science Gallery Melbourne, the screening will include an introductory talk by a special guest speaker as well as time spent exploring electrical engineering in the Lightning Room. You will also get to search for Saturn’s moon Titan, inspired by Ethan Hawke’s journey to the moon in the film.

Tickets are $20. There will be Suspended Gravity cocktails, wine and Two Birds Brewing craft beers available to purchase, as well as dinner options including nachos and loaded fries.
