A celebration of regional Victorian produce and Melbourne made whisky

Gippsland paddock-to-plate restaurant Farmer's Daughters is teaming up with Melbourne's most loved local whisky, Starward, and bringing you a series of three events that feature a produce market, bar, tasting area and campfire feast cooked by Alejandro Saravia, which will make it feel like you've left the city without actually leaving the city.

Each event will be held at Starward's Port Melbourne distillery and will focus on one region of Victoria, bringing produce, beer, wine, fish and meat from the area. You can buy produce to take home or purchase meals already cooked in front of you over a campfire. If you'd like to have lunch at the exclusive Campfire Feast where you will receive dishes like a 12-hour woodfire roasted O'Connor beef shin on the bone with a Starward Nova whisky jus, then you have to book you place here. There will also be collaborative cocktails made with brewers, winemakers and distillers from each region like a wine-infused cocktail or a fat-washed, honey-buttered whisky using local honey and butter along with Starward Single Malt whisky.

Best of all, these events held on July 27, August 24 and September 21 are free to attend with food and drinks available to be purchased on the day.

These events are likely to pack out, so to avoid disappointment, RSVP on their website
