You probably didn't know that your local, supermarket chocolate Green and Black source its cacao through Cacao Life, a program that supports sustainable cocoa farming to help deliver social and environmental change in farming communities. Well, in a bid for transparency, for the launch of their new 70 per cent dark chocolate range, Green and Black is bringing a pop-up, zero-waste cafe to Cremorne's Glasshaus for four days, all in partnership with Save the Children.
Over September 12-15, you can book in for a three-course, zero-waste dinner crafted by the sustainability champions Jo Barrett and Matt Stone (from Oakridge, Time Out's 2019 Restaurant of the Year winner), inspired by the new 70 per cent dark chocolate range with matched wines for $63.73 and be assured that $60 per ticket will go directly to Save the Children.
Bookings are essential and can be made here for both lunch and dinner sessions.
