Melbourne's favourite rock'n'roll dive bar is going punk for one night. In celebration of its fourth birthday, the team at Heartbreaker are encouraging ripped jeans, leather jackets, counterculture and even a little bit of anarchy to live within its four walls. If you've ever been to Heartbreaker near closing hour, you know that they aren't exaggerating.
In true Heartbreaker fashion, there will be live performances, dancing (or whatever punks did to the rhythm of the '70s) and lots of booze to encourage you to channel that inner Iggy Pop.
Entry is free, but an RSVP is encouraged via their Facebook page. The party starts at 6pm and goes until 3am. We know it's a Monday, but going straight home from work isn't very punk now, is it?
