Several months ago, the fine folk at Hot Tub Cinema Club announced that they'd be coming to Melbourne for a season of great movies, tasty drinks and bubbly good times. Finally, they've announced the venue for this year's week of films, and it's none other than Moon Dog Brewery and Bar in Abbotsford.
For one week you and your mates can 'splash out" and unwind with a movie in the warm, relaxing confines of a hot tub set up at this quirky converted warehouse space. Given that Moon Dog also host a semi-regular roller disco night, they're clearly no strangers to left-field events.
No movie is complete without snacks, so Hot Tub Cinema Club are providing one free drink on arrival at the pop-up cinema, with food and drink service available from your hot tub during the movie. Movie and hot tub tickets (you must buy both) are available now: choose from Anchorman, Aladdin, The Lion King, Blades of Glory or (appropriately) Hot Tub Time Machine.
