Time Out says

Dip out of work and learn something new at this Docklands pop-up

When you look at the growing popularity of casual adult education centres like School of Life, Work-Shop and Laneway Learning, it’s no surprise that Knowledge Space – located in Victoria Harbour in the Docklands – is already a hit with city workers keen to spend their free time acquiring some sweet new skills.

Which skills, exactly? On any given day you could be getting into the swing of Hula Hoop-ercise classes, getting your Zen on at a meditation class or mastering Snapchat. The Melbourne-based couple behind Creative Commune will be running their popular classes inside Knowledge Market; hands-on workshops could involve anything from making Scandi-cool concrete stools to learning how to DJ.

For the full list of classes, visit the website. While you're there, make sure you visit the state-of-the-art Library at the Dock across the road, which features a gallery, a recording studio and story lounge on top of a collection of more than 200,000 books.

September classes include:

Finding joy through dance. Thu 5.30-6.30pm. $20. Sep 15, 22 & 29

Hoop-ercise. Mon 5.15-6pm. $25.

Intro to songwriting. 6-9pm. Price TBA. Thu Sep 22.
