Time Out says

Hang out with the elves at the Toy Factory, make gingerbread in the Christmas Kitchen and get a family snap with Santa

Santa’s taken some out of his busy end-of-year schedule and is bringing his elves to Docklands for a few weeks of festive fun at Lapland.

From mid-November until the end of December, catch the cast responsible for Christmas Day as they give you a behind-the-scenes look into everything they do. Get your hands on an elf passport so you and the little ones can lend a hand in the toy factory, bake some gingerbreads in the Christmas kitchen and even have a go at ice curling.

There will be plenty of snow and winter treats, and you’ll get to go home with a Christmas gift and a copy of the Lapland Times newspaper so you can keep up to date on everything that’s going on in preparation for the big day. An onsite photographer will be snapping family Christmas photos with Santa himself, so this is an event not to be missed.

For the big kids wanting to get into the festive spirit, there’s Tinseltown next door where you can kick back and grab a drink.

A ticket to Lapland is $18 for adults and $12 for children (children under 5 go free) and includes a 90-minute entry, a drink and a cookie, with activities purchased separately. You can also purchase an all-inclusive pass for $60 that includes a drink, a cookie and access to all activities.
