Always wanted to be one of those smug dinner party hosts that has a tray of Espresso Martinis ready and waiting for when guests appear, but just have no idea where to start when it comes to making a half-decent cocktail? Never fear, because Rice Paper Scissors in Fitzroy has got you covered.

You can now book one of the popular restaurant’s signature cocktail-making classes – a 90-minute workshop that will teach you everything you need to know to make a perfectly mixed drink. Run by an expert bartender, you’ll go through a couple of fail-safe recipes, plus learn some useful tips and tricks that are guaranteed to impress even the most discerning cocktail connoisseur.

This hands-on, interactive experience also includes a glass of bubbles and a canapé upon arrival, all the ingredients to make (and drink!) two cocktails, your very own personal bartender, and a five-dish, sit-down banquet to enjoy when the class is over. Now we’ll cheers to that!

So if you’re looking for a fun activity for a hens party, birthday celebration, corporate function or even your next catch-up with mates, a cocktail-making sesh in Rice Paper Scissors’ private Fitzroy function room is a seriously good time.

Classes start at $125 per person. For more information and to book, head to the website.
