Before you enter full hibernation mode with the colder months looming ahead, commit to one last outdoor hurrah with the return of the Great Ocean Road Running Festival to Victoria’s South-West coast on May 18-19 2024. Take in sweeping coastal views while enjoying this rare opportunity to traverse the famous winding road on foot, all while getting active outdoors.  For the running purists amongst us, registrations are still available for the 6km run, the 6.5km and 12km trail runs as well as the 23km half marathon, the latter of which offers the best breathtaking views (but here's hoping your breathing remains steady while running).  For the less enthusiastic runners, this really is a festival with plenty on offer for everyone. Make the most of a vehicle-free Great Ocean Road and sign up for the 5km or 10km Great Ocean Road walk. If you've got little ones, encourage them to get up and about and join them for the 1.5km Kids’ Gallop.
