She's an accomplished artist, writer of two acclaimed fiction titles including the most recent The First Bad Man, and director of indie rom-com Me and You and Everyone We Know. And now Miranda July has been confirmed to a talk at Melbourne Town Hall in March 2016, presented by ACMI and the Wheeler Centre.
In Australia for the All About Women festival in Sydney, July's talk is named after the title of her first book Lost Child!, which she wrote when she was seven years old. The talk will be accompanied by interactive performance, video clips, and short readings. Be sure to score a ticket to catch a glimpse into the mind of this intriguing artist.
