Melbourne loves a dumpling, and why wouldn't you fall for those little steamed flavour bombs. And now we are set to get a festival dedicated to them, specifically the Nepali version known as the momo.
M Festival is taking over the Coburg Aerodrome and will be hosting a day of festivities for Holi, the Hindu spring festival of colours with live music performances from Nepalese folk band Kutumba, DJs, momo competitions, drinks stalls, markets and face painting.
All funds raised on the day will go the Non Resident Nepali Association’s Earthquake Reconstruction Project who are planning to build 1000 new homes in Laprak village.
